This book was one of the most straight forward books that I have encountered. I love this book because it allows your thinking and actions to be factored in times 10. Under this rule, I was able to set goals that were 10 times higher than the average. On top of it, Grant touches on how you must work 10 times harder to achieve them. The 10X rule can be applied to both your personal and professional goals. This includes life goals such as relationship goals, sales goals, business goals, and so much more.
This book challenged me. I ordered this book because I was looking to become more consistent in my daily tasks. If you are looking to break your bad habits and pick up more productive tasks this book is for you. This book is great for anyone looking to be their own master of discipline. This also brings awareness to the things you are doing that may be hindering your productivity and progression. Atomic Habits gives you tangible solutions to help you get back on track.
This book is one of my favorites. So much to the point, I read this book at least once a year every year. It also has a workbook as well. I love the workbook because it allows me to channel my thought process to focus on personal growth. This book has strengthened my spiritual journey and I highly recommend it. This book allowed me to tie in biblical stories to my everyday daily life. This book felt like I had a non-judgemental best friend listening to me and offering me very valuable advice. It has also allowed me to tap into my inner feelings and become more expressive with those whom I love.
This book is the #1 tool that I highly recommend for marketing. This book assists in helping you to build a clear, concise, and compelling message. I was able to use the techniques I learned in my content writing as well as my social media and email content. This book was amazing. It taught on the importance of being able to write a compelling story. Story telling is key to grasping someones attention.
This book changed my husband tremendously, so much to the point that I wanted to also read it. Evans did an amazing job showing men what God expects of them. If you are looking to discover the qualities of a MOG this book teaches and encourages. It gives Men a perspective that allows them to take ownership in everything they’re involved in. This book speaks to the man who wants to be a better husband, father, brother, friend, boss-employee, etc. This book is very thought-provoking, empowering, insightful and inspiring. My husband loved it and so did I. I have since read Kingdom Women as well as Kingdom Marriage from this author as well.

I wish someone would have sat me down and had a quick conversation with me about what to expect in my entrepreneurial journey. Running a business is by far the most challenging yet rewarding experience that I’ve ever encountered.
Starting a business takes a great deal of skill, sacrifice, and commitment. It doesn’t matter the field you are in, or what type of business you own, you must understand some of the biggest mistakes that entrepreneurs make in today’s market.
Below I've highlighted some of the biggest mistakes that entrepreneurs make throughout their journey. All of which I've made as well.
Most of our mistakes often come as a result of us being a first generational entrepreneurs. There was usually little to no guidance when it came to running and operating a business.
These are by far the biggest mistakes that any business owner can make. Avoid these mistakes at all costs and by doing so you’ll set yourself up for a great deal of success.
Mistake #1 Expecting Success Immediately
We often enter into business with a very confident and high hope that we will see a great deal of success almost instantly. If you are expecting success right away from your business then you are walking in setting yourself up for disappointment.
Building a solid and profitable business takes time. This also depends on the type of business that you are attempting to grow. Some businesses have a longer return on investment.
In entrepreneurship, you’ll need to be realistic about your expectations and try to be patient with yourself. So many entrepreneurs fail so early on because small business owners are opening their doors with the expectation of creating an immediate profit.
Don’t make this mistake. Give yourself room to learn and grow your business. You will learn so much from yourself when you are intentionally tracking your progress and mistakes
Mistake #2 Trying to do Everything yourself
Delegation is the key! Every good entrepreneur understands the power of delegation and leverage. Doing everything yourself in your business can be very stressful.
Entrepreneurs make this mistake and oftentimes experience burnout and frustration in their businesses. This usually leads to less productivity and growth in business.
When you are delegating tasks I highly recommend you track all tasks that don’t require a great deal of experience and expertise. These are usually the tasks you delegate out first. For example: Answering your emails, Scheduling appointments, etc
The tasks you are unable to perform, you can outsource. This means someone outside of yourself does these tasks. This allows you to lighten your load and focuses on growing your company’s revenue.
Start small with a few tasks at a time.
Mistake #3 Ignoring your Passion and Just Starting any business for the money
If you are not passionate about what type of business you are operating, maintaining your business success may be a bit challenging. Every business that I have ever operated I’ve had a great deal of passion for what I was doing.
Often it did not seem like work and I loved it soo much. Honestly, when you are passionate about what you do showing up and working in your business would be something you naturally want to do.
When I first started my business one of the first mistakes I encountered was not responding to my passion. I was doing what produced income instead of what made me happy.
When I walked in my passion and purpose that is when I was able to produce multiple-multi six-figure organizations. After making my first milli I realized that to grow a successful profitable business you must first identify your passion. This is the reason I’ve created my FREE Passion
Finder. This is a guided tool I used to discover my skills and passions that drove me to make millions in my business.
One unique about me is that passion truly drives my successes. It’s not the money that drives me, I chase the impact that it makes on others through my product or services.
It is important to not make this mistake because although you may be profiting from whatever career you have chosen, growing that business may be challenging because it is not something that you are passionate about. You could also experience frustration and lack of business growth because of this. Anything you’re passionate about is proven to grow much faster and more effortlessly
Mistake #4 Not being adaptable
Being adaptable means you are aware of what’s working and what’s not. In this stage, it is important to test and re-test again. Many entrepreneurs often miss this step.
This is an ever-changing market and it’s important to learn to become adaptable. This means not putting too much expectation on one particular product or service. In other words, do not place all of your eggs in one basket. It is highly recommended each entrepreneur try various products and solutions. This means if you notice your clients are not purchasing one item, try packaging it differently and track your clients buying behaviors.
Write down what’s working in your business and implement it. Also, write down what’s not working as well so you become of what to eliminate or replace in your business as well.
Mistake #5 Ignoring Social Media
Of course, you do have an entrepreneur who believes they’re able to build a successful business without being present on the internet.
Well, the truth is this. Can you run a business without social media? Yes, you can but more than likely it will grow fairly slower than it would with the internet.
Whether you are a relationship specialist or a business coach, you will need the internet.
Here is Why? Your customers are on the internet, and any business that would like to be successful needs to be where their clients are. This allows you to intentionally show up and build a growing relationship with their clients.
Using Social Media allows you to capture more of your targeted audience. The internet makes communication and working online much easier and low barrier to entry when starting your business.
When you are starting a business it’s important to at least be present on social media. This ensures you can capture more clients who are interested in what you do.
Please do not make this mistake. Failing to use social media could limit your limit as well as your business revenue in your business. If you notice you are not getting enough sales and exposure more than likely it’s because of your online presence.

If you are reading this blog that means that you are interested in the overall improvement of life. In today’s blog ill be sharing with you a big struggle that I was able to overcome.
Most times we do not understand the importance of something as simple as our Water Intake.
What I’ve learned over the years is that drinking water is very mental. You simply have to prepare your mind to start on your journey to a better life.
You may ask what inspired me to start drinking water. To be completely honest, I have to make myself drink water daily
Here is my simple formula. I am a visual. I have to create an experience for myself when it comes to my water intake process.
What does this mean? This means I purchased high-end fancy blinged-out custom insulated cups. Oddly I also prefer to drink it out of my fancy cups as well. Mentally I am telling myself ya girl is drinking in style.
Also, I have a goal of drinking a min of 64 ounces of water daily. I track this using my FlyBOSS Lifestyle Planner. Each week there are daily marks for me to mark this task as done
I usually pour 16.9oz bottles, which is only 4 bottles daily.
I have identified the many benefits of simply drinking water. On top of all of this, my family has a history of kidney failure. I lost my sister because of this illness.
My family experienced with this has made me fully aware of the road that I do not want to embark upon.
I whisper to myself daily just drink the water…..
Below I have highlighted 5 Important Facts you may have never thought about in regards to water intake.
1.Your Airways Need It
The lack of water causes your airways to become restricted by the body. This minimizes the amount of water that your body loses. This can make your allergies and asthma worse.
Not drinking water can make your blood become thicker and increases your blood pressure
It’s something about working out and drinking water. Scientist believes drinking water improves performance during strenuous activity. It also helps with weightlessness. Drinking water before your meals can help prevent overeating by creating a sense of fullness. Replacing your sweet juices with water would help as well
This may seem a little surprising but yes WATER is the key when you are out partying. This helps to keep you hydrated. Unsweetened soda water with ice and lemon alternated with alcoholic drinks can help prevent overconsumption of alcohol
Your skin contains plenty of water, it also functions as a protective layer to prevent excess fluid loss. Hydration does not erase wrinkles or fine lines on the skin. This is just a disclaimer
Water helps dissolve minerals and nutrients, this makes them more accessible to the body. Water consumption helps remove waste products. The kidneys play a key role in the balancing of fluid liquids
Water is essential for the kidneys to function. If the kidneys do not function properly, waste products and excess fluid can build up inside the body
Drinking plenty of water is the simple way to reduce the risk of developing a UTI as well as to assist in treating an existing UTI as well.
]]>Determine your Non-negotiables
Keep in mind that most of your goals involve some form of income. Most of them are likely quite pricey. The one thing that we fail to pay attention to is the amount of time that it takes to get them done. TIME is even more valuable than money itself. One of the biggest misses in a day is not planning effectively. Here are some of the time management strategies that work…
Time Block
This is the concept of completely dedicating parts of your time to a specific task. This task usually aligns with your priorities. When writing in your planners you should have specific days or specific times of the day that you only work on one thing. For me Mondays are content days, Wednesdays are date days, Friday evenings are Movie Night, Sunday morning is the church, and Sunday evening is family dinner. Now my entire circle of friends and family know that I am unavailable at these times. Once you implement this strategy and stick to it, you’ll see drastically increased control of your day.
Make Your Lists
Most people like to brainstorm and place all of their things to do on one list. That somebody used to be me. It’s a good start just to write it down and get it in one place. I have taken it a bit further with my latest productivity hack. The best time to do this is the night before you are working on the list. But… I break my list up into two categories. My main list which is no more than 3 items at a time is written down first. These are my MUST DO’s. They usually help with me completing my weekly goals as well. Once I have completed this list, I then write down everything else that I would like to get done. (Dry-cleaning, laundry, pedicure, etc. The second list not getting done does not have the same impact as not getting the first list done. This has been my secret weapon for beating deadlines. It feels so good scratching those 3 tasks daily.
Designate Time
You likely did not want to hear this, but you must commit to working on your dreams. Having a planner is more than just having the cutest book around. Your planner house your dreams. Your dreams should be looked at daily. Plan a time that you dedicate reading and writing in your planner. Make this a routine. After consistently working in your planner your family will soon begin to adjust to your time spent working in it. This is not a guarantee, just me being hopeful for you sis. Do it anyway.
Have fun in your planning
Who says planning has to be boring? Whoever they are, they’re likely somewhere not knowing which way is up. When I sit down to write in my planner, I play no games. Your girl cuts on her mood music. Grabs a refreshing snack, pour a glass of wine, and start planning. It’s the one place where my mind can be free. I like to use markers. Colored pencils, crayons, highlighters, and much more. Pretty much anything that will make my writing jump off the page. If you treat the planning process as a task it will likely not get done. Therefore you should treat it like a Manifestation party sis. Have fun
Be Intentional
There is no point in trying to achieve something big if you don’t spend time meditating on it. Have you ever heard someone tell you that you will become what you think about? How about this? If you hang around 5 broke people, you will be the fifth? Yep! These are things that are within your control. The same thing applies to being more productive. You have to intentionally make time for yourself and your goals. Be intentional in your choices and your life will look vastly different. This is easier said than done. To see greater consistency in this, connect with an accountability partner.
